Perfectly poised along the Hudson River’s west bank, Nyack is a peaceful and quaint yet hip village where you can connect with its welcoming, eclectic community. Residents appreciate the convenient, mile-long walkable downtown area, stunning scenery, and excellent school system. The homes have a variety of architectural styles. You will see Victorians, Cape Cods, and modern luxury properties here.

Nyack is in Rockland County and encompasses a group of villages, including South Nyack, West Nyack, Central Nyack, and Upper Nyack. It is easy to reach from Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and is just an hour’s drive north of New York City. The village’s joyful, artistic feel can be traced back to former resident Edward Hopper, a renowned artist who called Nyack home for many years. A principal cellist for New York’s Metropolitan Opera Orchestra also lived here, as did author Carson McCullers. It is no wonder why Nyack is known as the “Art and Soul” on the Hudson.
